Leonhard Baumann started his career in digital marketing back in 2012, when “big data” was still a buzzword and Google Analytics was the undisputed king of web tracking.
After spending 8 years in corporate analytics — including roles at a major e-commerce platform and a Fortune 500 retail company — Leonhard noticed a growing disconnect between what marketers needed and what traditional analytics tools provided.
In 2020, everything changed. GDPR enforcement intensified, Apple introduced App Tracking Transparency, and suddenly the industry’s reliance on third-party cookies looked like a house of cards.
Leonhard made a decision: instead of fighting the privacy wave, he’d ride it.
